THERMOPLASTIC ETHER-ESTER ELASTOMERS
TPC-ET

The chemistry of co-polyether-ester elastomers determines the TPC-ET SIPOLPRENE® unique behaviour. In fact, as the polyester structure assures dimensional stability, chemical resistance and mechanical properties typical of a semicrystalline polymer, the polyether structure provides with elastomeric properties, as remarkable resilience and flexibility with high impact strength even at low temperatures.

SIPOLPRENE® portfolio covers a range of hardness from ShD 27 to 72 and melting temperature between 170°C and 220°C, with the possibility to develop tailor made copolymers according to specific customer needs.

The combination of sharp melting points typical of every single product with an excellent melt stability allows easy and reliable product processing in various techniques, from injection moulding to extrusion and the use in 2K molding solutions for soft touch applications.

SIPOLPRENE® products are used in several market fields for industrial applications as well as for consumer goods. The food contact compliances and the absence of any plasticizer make SIPOLPRENE® an excellent polymer for food and personal care fields.
