THERMOPLASTIC ETHER-ESTER ELASTOMERS

SIPOLPRENE® grades combine outstanding properties as resistance to high and low temperatures and the easy processability of a thermoplastic through injection molding, extrusion, 2k-molding, rotomolding.

Product portfolio covers a range of from Sh D 25 to 72 and melting temperature between 150°C and 220°C, with the possibility to develop tailor made TPC according to specific customer needs.

The food contact compliances and the absence of any plasticizer make SIPOLPRENE® an excellent polymer for consumer goods applications.

SIPOLPRENE® products grant an excellent flex fatigue, creep resistance and impact strength, over a wide temperature range.

Softer grades show excellent shock-absorbing properties, reducing vibrations and noise.

Furthermore, with their high dielectric constants and good dissipation factors, these TPC are suitable for wire and cable jacketing, where electrical insulation combined with protection from external environment and mechanical abrasion are needed.

Thanks to their high compatibility with PVC, PET, SEBS, ABS and TPU, SIPOLPRENE® is frequently used in compounding as a modifier to improve some specific properties of the final compound.

DISCOVER OTHER SPECIAL GRADES

Thermoplastic elastomer TPC products with an enhanced water vapour permeability, which allows their use in manufacturing of breathable films and roofing membranes, but also in sport textiles and equipment.
Films and membranes based on SIPOLPRENE®B grades, thanks to their chemical structure, are permeable to water vapor molecules only, blocking liquid water, unlike perforated or microporous films.

Bio-based thermoplastic copolyesters (TPC), developed as sustainable alternatives to our standard range SIPOLPRENE®.

These products combine high performance with reduced environmental impact.

The renewable resources content of the material can reach up to 50%, with monomers obtained from agro-industrial by-products or sugar fermentation processes.

Thermoplastic elastomer TPC-ET products specifically developed with a rheological behavior suitable for the extrusion process of several applications as hoses, tubes, cables, belts, films, profiles and monofilaments.

Thermoplastic elastomer TPC products specifically developed to enhance stretching, breathability and oxygen barrier properties in PET films and packaging.
It can be used either as a modifier to reduce oxygen permeability in the final product or as a raw material for further modifications.
